+ How do I schedule a session?

Call, text, or email 781.864.9204 to find out availability and set up your session.

+ Where will my session take place?

I will come to your home with my Thai mat or massage table. Please clear a 6’x6’ space for us to work. I will arrive a few minutes early to set up so we can begin on time.

+ What can I do to prepare for my session?

Please wear loose comfortable clothing, preferably cozy natural fibers that are long sleeves and pants and remove your jewelry. *For prenatal sweedish/deep please be prepared to undress to your level of comfort

Drink water & get in the water! Its good to shower, bathe or swim both before and/or after your session if possible.

Finally please be prepared to inform me of any medical history, current issues, concerns, areas of discomfort or anything eses that may be relevant to the healing work.

+ Will we be talking during the session?

This is your session and it is my intention to tailor it to suit what your mind/body needs. Please come prepared to communicate your needs and preferences during the work.

I am not a therapist or a mental health professional and will not give advice. That being said - mind/body issues often arise due to the nature of the work. We can dialogue if it is helpful in staying present or helping your release your holding patterns.

+ What is your privacy policy?

Sessions are confidential. I will not share information about you, your session, your body, your thoughts, emotions or anything that arises in our work with anyone else.

+ What if I am running late or need to cancel?

If you need to cancel please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your session you are responsible for the cost of the session. If we begin later than planned we will work with the remaining time alotted.

+ How do I pay you?

+ What if I am feeling sick or have a medical condition?

If you are coming down with a cold or flu please call me to cancel as soon as possible. If you are on the mend and no longer contageous then feel free to come to your appiontment.

The most important medical conditions that are contraindicated are cold, fever or flu, edema, cancer, blood clots, bleeding disorders or taking blood thinning medication, burns or healing wounds, cardiovascular conditions, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, bone fracture, severe osteopoosis, severe thrombocytopenia, high blood pressure, arthritic flare, contagious skin disease or rash.

If you have any questions or concerns - please check with your doctor to find out if massage is safe for you.

+ Will you go on a date with me?

No. I work with a therapeutic touch that is non-sexual. I will end the session if inappropriate advances are made. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason.

+ What is a CMT?

CMT stands for Certified Massage Therapist. In California it is required that a massage therapist complete a minimum of 500 hours of training and take an exam in order to receive this certification. Many massage therapists use the acronym LMT and CMT interchangeably.
